If you’re coming to Cape Town, why not stay in Camps Bay? We are a short drive from the city in a beautiful little bay with Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles behind us. Here are just some of the reasons you’ll love staying here on your vacation or business visit:

1. Close to the main attractions

Camps Bay is 30 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes away from the Table Mountain cableway and Cape Town city centre and just 15 minutes away from the V & A Waterfront. This means you’ll be close to all the attractions while also being able to enjoy the quiet ambiance of a coastal town.

2. Cocktails and night life

The Telegraph travel website lists Camps Bay’s ‘Sunset strip’ as one of Cape Town’s four nightlife precincts. Everything happens along the beachfront road, with clubs and cocktail lounges setting out tables on the pavement so patrons can sip exotic drinks while watching the sun go down. Upmarket restaurants serve wonderful meals in a spectacular setting, and all at local prices!

3. Beaches and sunsets

Camps Bay’s prime attraction is a long stretch of beautiful beach with gorgeous evening sunsets. Locals come down to the beach in summer to picnic, play beach volleyball, or just to sit and soak up the spectacular scenery. Camps Bay beach has an international Blue Flag rating and is listed by TripAdvisor as one of Africa’s Top Beaches.

4. Hikes and outdoors

Table Mountain and Lion’s Head are no more than 10 minutes drive away and offer a choice of hikes from easy to challenging. You can climb a steep track right to the top of Table Mountain and then take the Cable Car down. Another very popular walk is the full-moon evening hike up Lion’s Head. 5. Bus tours

Cape Town’s famous open-topped buses offer hop-on, hop-off tours of the City and peninsula every day. And they have a stop right in Camps Bay. You can tour all of Cape Town and surrounds without doing any of your own driving.

6. Peace and quiet

Despite the action happening down on the Sunset strip, the streets behind it are quiet and suburban. You can take your pick of meditative strolls along the roads and the beachfront, or join in the buzz of the cocktail zone.
